Looking at the brilliant ruby color of this Italian blend one can see the clarity and brilliance of the sangiovese grape. A slightly complex nose of bright cherry with a hint of raspberry and, after a few minutes of air, you’ll note some lemongrass as the wine opens up. The flavors are ripe berry and fruit. This medium bodied wine has an enjoyable, crisp acidity that pairs well with a robust Bolognese sauce.
